Instrumentation cables
In the modern era of automation and instrumentation,
instrumentation cables play an important role in controlling and monitoring
various processes in plants for excellent process control. GEEKORE
Instrumentation cables provide total interference free data transfer.
Twisted pair constructions are used to nullify the interference from nearby
circuitry and avoid noise. Microprocessor based control devices demand a
very low noise level and attenuation of signal in the cable. Cables are
being made in form of pairs / triads /quads.

Construction
- Solid / stranded copper (bare or tinned) conductor : 0.40mm Dia.
(0.126 Sq. mm. to 2.50 Sq. mm.)
- PVC / PE/ LLDPE insulation upto 90 deg. C.
- Twisted in form of pair (2 core) / triad (3 core) / quad (4 core)
- Individual solid color or bi-color coding for core identification
- If required, individual shielding by Al mylar with drain wire or
round wire braiding.
- Inner PVC sheath.
- Wire or strip galvanized steel wire armoring
- Outer sheathing by General purpose ZH/ HR/ FR/ FRLS PVC
Quality Parameters
- Controlled diameter at each stage
- DC resistance, tensile strength and elongation for center conductor
- Insulation resistance, high voltage testing on individual cores,
core to core and core to screen.
- Core to core capacitance and core to shield capacitance.
